Bloody hell that is up there with Michael Brennan

Well, I'm being a bit facetious. It was a "league consensus best player available" team, where we had a franchise vacancy and we just filled it with the best player each round. So it didn't end up with nine WRs.
Don't. I finished below an auto-draft team last year. The shame!
PM to blob, 'why can't you be like Morgan or Olly, real men who "get things done'''!
After the train crash, 'Oh b-b-but I didn't know'
Nobody said the job is easy, but to govern is to choose. π€·ββοΈ
The first hour was valuable and sought to understand complexity and context.
The second hour is mostly "for socials".
Have you listened to the evidence being given, Fionna?
Some clearly don't understand the two part process of the vetting position - the UKSV process and the departmental risk mitigation.
Yes, as we run down the roster we're into members who either haven't been listening, or who are just trying to get their pre-written question in (despite it already having been asked four+ times).
Apols - I'm on a 10min delay watching so your comment makes more sense now!
I think they've been pretty good. A few I suspect are looking for a clip for their socials, but I think most of the questions have been appropriately challenging and seeking clarity.
As Permanent Under-Secretary of State (PUS) at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) & Head of the Diplomatic Service, Sir Oliver was Peter Mandelsonβs boss. He was also, like other PUSs, in charge of granting or denying Developed Vetting (DV) to his staff. /2.
Might we assume that "review" is a less active/involved process than the verb implies?
Early 2000's?? You looked like this in 2010!!
'As [ #BBC's #WorldatOne with Jonny Dymond has an interview with @ciaranm.bsky.social at #BBCSounds]
@SamCoatesSky reports via former security official Ciaran Martin, Robbins was prohibited from sharing information about what happened with anyone outside the FCDO security team' 3/
Based on the background colour, on first skim thought these were "best Parliamentary XI"s. Would probably do a better job avoiding relegation, tbh
PM is on the ropes. Opposition united in baying for blood. Backbenchers similar. In what fantasy world is this going to be done "together in a more open and collegiate way"?
I have *views* which anyone who knows me will guess in relation to the Mandelson clearance issue.
But this from the @financialtimes.com article made me roll my eyes. Based on the perspective of the situation No10 have outlined over the last ~12hrs, this was always going to be defenestration.
If they get the targeted support for low-income families right (big IF there), I think this is the right balance. Industrial energy has huge pass-through costs for consumers, and it does seem we are at a tipping point on industrial energy costs - losing some big employers would be v bad econ news.
Or my favourite about a woman who is a big fan of yogurt-based dishes - Lady Raita
What an absolutely terrible poll question!
Wow, I'd never heard of NTS. Am now intrigued and have downloaded the app!
Do you have a preferred pre-order route, @helenebismarck.bsky.social ?
Your commitment to the bit here is admirable Iain π
The skeksis!!
I have some fairly deep-seated childhood nostalgia for The Point, and the kind of future it seemed to represent then.
I walked past it the other day. It looks like one of those bits of Last Of Us 2 when you're searching for ammo and superhero trading cards in wrecked Seattle.
Time for it to go.
UK *energy policy
Especially as it is a crucial counter-argument to "wind doesn't blow all the time" UK policy doomers.
As long as we actually invest in the storage.
As the putative Democratic rival, are we supposed to think "oh my god if this is how he treats his salad I stand no chance, might as well drop out now"? Thought/said absolutely no one, ever...
This is objectively really really funny because of how dumb it is!
Genius marketing play by Ulster University, this. Absolute bravo!
