The new @frame.work 13 looks cool. Can't wait to see some reviews of it
I'm super late I know but Hollow Knight is such a vibe
Instagram went from a cool photo app to a tick tock clone so fast..
When I first got into photography a few years back, I used to love posting my photos on Instagram. Now I don't even have it installed because I can't bring myself to look at it.
Isn't that just software development in general?
It seems to work with the beta Finamp app, so I guess they are doing some extra work to make that happen?
Is it just me, or is @jellyfin.org not that good at normalising music audio volume? And yes, I have the setting enabled
I remember being so chuffed as a junior dev when I implemented one of those bad boys with an on hover effect for the first time. Ah nostalgia.
I think a big differentiator will be features, user experience and more importantly, taste. If switching cost is low, you can find users by providing a service that vibes with them. Like a good cafe or pub. Anyone can make coffee, but most people still have their favourite spot.
Work presentation went well ๐
Watched Project Hail Mary last night and it was very good. Go see it.
Careful, it might write a mean blog post about you
I do the same and was shocked to find out everyone doesn't do this?
I've been using DuckDuckGo for nearly 10 years and never felt like I was missing out. I'm curious to give @kagi.com a try
*opted into
So I just opted I to the beta for Finamp and it has this! Also, the facelift in the beta is very sick
That looks so satisfying
I would love it if there was a Jellyfin app for playing music that had the same network switching feature Immich has. On home wifi, use local IP. Anything else, use tailscale IP
Think I have most of what I want setup. Immich for photos, Jellyfin to play music and Tailscale for access
I got a NAS and spent the whole weekend setting it up
Oh no! I just had an idea for another project that I definitely won't have time to finish but will probably start anyway ๐ฎ
I have seen it but I didn't realise you could modify records! Very cool
The personal data management is an interesting one. It would be great to have an easy to use interface for looking at and removing data for things you don't want. Like if you test out an app that you don't want to use anymore, you could delete that data from your pds
For real though, it's looking good. I haven't tried Beans yet but I'll give it a go once the web ui drops
Well it's not Jira without the horrendous pop-in and content shift on page load
I felt the exact same. My first thought was, wait? That was it?
Personally I find I almost forget it's there? When I first learned css, flexbox was the new hotness. I'd imagine it's just muscle memory for most people?
I took your advice and disabled 2FA before migrating and it went very smoothly! Feels good to have my social data closer to home
