I do not celebrate this day; it is a painful reminder of several massacres that took place during that period. This day was declared a holiday with a feast in celebration of those massacres in 1639. But for those of you who do celebrate what you are thankful for, I hope this is a good day for you.

Keep blocking those cars, čhiyé tȟatháŋka. Hókahé.
Not to mention the infamous reverse directory to find out who had which number or address.

Us natives come in all skin tones but our hearts are all red. Time to join forces. Time to come together. Let’s show the real strength.

Whatever our tribal differences, we can stand together in solidarity, mutual respect & love, protect the land, and stand our ground against the oncoming storm. Because despite their centuries-old effort to divide us, it’s now time to come together. Let’s show them Native Unification.
Hókahé.
Native Unification is calling us. One people, many tribal ways, standing together as one, in mutual respect and love. The dream is alive and I will not give up on it.

Read and read again. Time to come together, relatives. They are playing us from both sides.

The clown car is getting full.
And to be VERY clear, this is not about hate aimed at any one race; the yt-eyes (those disconnected humans who would destroy grandmother earth in the name of profit) excel at that. This is about us relearning to love ourselves and protect her – and each other.

I might not be enrolled, nor even claimed by a tribe. But because of my full blood Lakota grandfather, I know who I am. And at almost 73 winters, I can no longer stand by and watch my people destroy themselves–like they have been programmed to do.
And just to be clear, us Natives need our non-native allies like during the Standing Rock fight 8 years ago. But this particular call is about us and our need to build many bridges within our own communities. For too long we have allowed ourselves to become the invisible minority. Well, no more.
Calling all Native peoples of "Turtle Island" (North America & Mexico), and also Central/South America to finally come together in solidarity, mutual respect, & love. One people, many nations with diverse tribal uniqueness's would be unbreakable. Only together will we survive.
