so, when i am on wifi, the sound quality and app functioning are great. but when i left my place, the app got choppy. i learned i had to use mp3 quality to lower the bandwidth while i'm out and about. but you can set it so that on wifi, it's high fidelity and on 5G it's mp3. annoying, but it's fine

I signed up for Qobuz (a French streaming platform) and it has significantly better sound quality than Spotify. I tested it on computer, bluetooth speaker, wired and wireless headphones and just my phone's speaker — better on all of them.
