The French translation of my first book, BLEED: Destroying Myths and Misogyny in Endometriosis Care, is now available in Canada â and will be coming to Europe in the fall!
As a Montrealer, I am so proud to have my book translated into my second language. <3

âI think actually quite a few doctors... do want to help people. But the system of medical training beats people down.â On (MIS)Treated, @namshine.bsky.social speaks with @traceylindeman.bsky.social about âBLEED,â her 24âyear path to an endometriosis diagnosis & how the medical system fails women.
â(Endometriosis) is the monster under the bed that you fear because you're planning to experience the pain.â On the next (MIS)Treated, @namshine.bsky.social speaks with @traceylindeman.bsky.social about her book âBLEED: Destroying Myths and Misogyny in Endometriosis Care.â
My friend @traceylindeman.bsky.social wrote a whole book on this. BleedTheBook.com looks at how rampant misogyny in health care leaves millions of people in agony.
thanks so much, Rine! <3
oh also, sometimes some of the more obscure stuff doesn't port over properly but if you manually search it you can usually find it
no prob! they have a free month trial fyi!
fwiw they pay some of the highest royalties to artists, tho
so, when i am on wifi, the sound quality and app functioning are great. but when i left my place, the app got choppy. i learned i had to use mp3 quality to lower the bandwidth while i'm out and about. but you can set it so that on wifi, it's high fidelity and on 5G it's mp3. annoying, but it's fine
I signed up for Qobuz (a French streaming platform) and it has significantly better sound quality than Spotify. I tested it on computer, bluetooth speaker, wired and wireless headphones and just my phone's speaker â better on all of them.
Plus they let you move over all your Spotify playlists.

It has one of the lowest conviction rates of any crime in Canada.
I get why so many people are okay with piling on in this case because he's a tech CEO and we're living in a tech broliogarchy, so we hate these people.
But surveillance culture is no bueno across the board and anytime we celebrate it, we all lose in the end.
My first thought: does he write his own memos?
NEW: âThe transformations that Paris made work better for everyone, including drivers.â Iâm interviewed for this @politico.eu @victorglaf.bsky.social article on Paris Mayor @annehidalgo.bsky.socialâs truly remarkable city-building legacy. @carlosmorenofr.bsky.social is quoted along with many mayors.
Canada desperately needs doctors. Especially Quebec, which has a couple of programs meant to attract international students in medicine (Quebec resident tuition is very cheap compared to what international students normally pay) www.quebec.ca/en/education...
Congestion pricing by the # âs 6 months in:
* 67k fewer drivers entering zone daily
* Delays in Holland Tunnel down 65%
* Traffic deaths down 32% so far in 2025
* $500m projected this year for MTA capital improvements
* Bâway attendance +12%
* Subway ridership +7%
So yes this program is a SUCCESS.
The New York Times has confirmed our reporting that, amid a federal "defunding" effort, Planned Parenthood affiliates are considering whether to halt abortion care so they can continue accepting Medicaid:

Letter of recommendation: Vornado air circulators. I got one that can circulate air in a space up to 700 sq ft (model 810).
I put it near the AC and it spread the cool air throughout the apartment, and it's still keeping the temp down even after I turned off the AC. #heatwave
New from Evan: You might know that the New York Times took a shameful victory lap the day after the Supreme Court ruled bans on gender affirming care are not discriminatory.
But what you probably don't know is that ban supporters cited NYT in their amicus briefs 29 times.
and it's very cool that our power bills are going up this year because of the local data farms!

People (including journalists) keep posting this today as if it's relevant to the current spate of deportations but the "70 deportations" cited refers to ones done 2015-2020
Misleading headline, and journos posting without reading
