Shabana Mahmoud's 330% increase actually equates to less than 90 additional Sudanese asylum seekers...90 bright young people seeking to flee a country that has been ravaged by a succession of civil wars...people who will build Britain! Shame on this Govt!
To massively paraphrase - ermmmm, misquote - Brendan Behan, "You started the war in my absence and created the Straits of Hormuz problem in my absence, so I said they could finish the war in my absence."

www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026... FFS...poor Peter...yes, he's entitled to a fair trial but his life is falling apart only because of his piss poor decisions and his self-serving nature. If we make the predators - and allies - accountable, perhaps there won't be victims!
They'll soon find they are not too big for the Championship!
Why would they...even Manchester United have avoided coming to that conclusion! 🤣😭
This post made me ask my wife, "Yeah, what did happen to white dog shit?" 🤣 Nonplussed she was! Oh, the'll also bring back 8-track cartridges!
Sadly, like The Emperor's New Clothes, there is no one close to him who is willing to tell him how to fucking behave!
He was referring to a well-thumbed and stained copy of Hello magazine, I believe.
Hmmmmm...we should not countenance anything that might rescue that man's rightly diminishing reputation. Of course,we might extend consulate assistance...for all the good that will do! 🤣

Imagine how pissed the Mango Mussolini would be if Starmer pulled this off and got a Nobel Peace Prize for it? 🤣
Aside from differing physical characteristics, most such weapons will have electronic signatures that give them away. Of course, false flag attacks are not unknown but the consequences for discovery would be massive!

Good on the lad for admitting it but how are they not better coached regarding such matters? Come on, United! Might also be worth him asking #RainbowDevils for a face-to-face.

It would help enormously if airlines and holiday companies making money out of rabies-prevalwnt countries shared info with passengers/customers about its dangers. It beggars belief that a woman had died primarily through ignorance.
Agreed but, again, stationing a RN ship in tbe Med is the most defensible of Starmer's decisions in this.
All that is preety much true but none of it relates to HMS Dragon being sent to be stationed off Akrotiri for defensive purposes.
It's not much of a lark, actually: having experienced a couple of rehearsal 'Wednesday Wars', I was glad to be out of the RN by the time the Falklands arrived!
What international law is being breached if the action is to defend a British base, personnel and their families?
2. When I explained to others like me that this might be a better description for international school teachers, I was shocked at how many thought this beneath them, preferring to describe themselves as expats. Truly saddening!
1. I worked overseas for 30 years and thought of myself as an expat at first (and it was true in the literal sense) but in the last 10 years or so realised it was more appropriate to describe myself as an economic migrant.
What is it?
Aggressive with Heidi Alexander too...though, to be fair, she was pretty crap.

Two days in a row I've seen Zack Polanski with his arm around Hannah Spencer: am I the only one who gets creeper out by this? You rarely see women do this to men...so why do men do it so readily?
PS I'm neither pro nor anti Greens
The Representation of the People Bill is a rare chance to renew our democracy - yet it ignores the voting system driving chaos and disillusionment.
We need MPs standing up for fair votes in this upcoming debate. Urge your MP to attend: actionnetwork.org/letters/repr...
We came here for sensible discourse, that's all...hint, hint! It's good to remind people that Labour still supports X!
Where is the Green Party poll - 28% also - and why does Labour think it OK to be elected on such a small percentage? What happened to PR?
