I’ve bought and sold a collection of Final Girl boxes twice. This is my third time purchasing and it’s finally clicked for me. Looking forward to the Predator- and Jurassic Park-inspired sets coming this year.

I think he’s ready for the base to get painted now.

I’m on family holiday over Easter, but I’ve discovered the fan-made Voidfall web app and it works great on iPad - so I’m all good!

Yeah, I’ve embraced it as part of the play. But I hated it when I first got into the hobby.

The next game of Voidfall set up from the box. I wanted to see how long it would take seeing as I kinda know what I am doing now. Took one hour 😅🤪.

One step up in my Voidfall learning. A full solo scenario using the tutorial map. Still took me most of my lunch break just to set up, but I think the juice is worth the squeeze.

Solo tutorial set up for Voidfall.

It’s been so long that I’m back to the tutorial for Voidfall. Despite the hour-long setup, it’s giving me real “this could take over my board gaming life” vibes.

I didn’t wash them. Brushed on a thin layer of white gesso as primer.

I just went with faction colours and dark washes. Only properly painting the main characters.

Noice. I am done at owning most of chapter 1. I’m also a bit AI-iffy on the art I’ve seen for 2 (not that I can stay long on that high horse as I continue to purchase Awaken Realms games).

Upon receiving this big box, my plan to fit these minis inside the already massive core box may have just hit a snag… I think this will just have to be its own extra box.

(Several broke during transit from the US, but nothing some super glue won’t fix)

For some reason (or likely many), it's my comfort game. If I have the time, I'll never not be in the mood for it. I play it in between learning other games.

Box 1 - heaps of cards with labelled dividers and then all the character standees down one side.

Box 2 - all the small cards and tokens in a removable plastic compartment box. Box 3 - all the boards, boss cards, investigator cards and monsters.

Finished organising all of Eldritch Horror across three boxes. Should make setup a bit faster.

Never have a bad game, even if it ends horribly for the heroes!

Nice. I’ve got core, Moria and the Lone Lands. Would like to run a solo game at some point with the Strider Mode supplement.

Have you checked out the roleplaying game The One Ring? Beautiful books, even if you just read them and dream about ever running a session (like me).
