I fell in love with her character during books 3 and 4 in particular. I loved how she took initiative instantly to search for the lost Rainwings and led the entire tribe to defending themselves.

Yeah! I actually don't think ive seen anyone draw them cloaking or stealthed before, other than the uncolored lineart in the visual novels which was a trivial implementation. I tried to strike a balance between being visible and being camouflaged so the picture was interesting and readable.
