"Farage has clocked up nearly £2 million in income and gifts since he was elected as the member for Clacton in July 2024." open.substack.com/pub/writesbr...
Following on from last week's bs "investigation" which absolutely misrepresented the scale and nature of people potentially claiming asylum under false grounds, it is exceptionally hard to see how this is in any way acceptable and not blatant bias. This is an advert not a news piece.
By 2030, power consumption from 'AI data centers' will TRIPLE, in their 'base' scenario
A single server rack in a data centre
-weighs the same as a truck
-Uses as much energy as 65 households
-wildly fluctuates in power consumption
i-Evacuates as much heat into the atmosphere as 30 gas boilers
Very “strange” how the “accidents” are in one direction!
A bit like Farage, really. It’s just bad luck 🙃
GB News headline: GP who asked Muslim woman to remove her veil 'because he was struggling to understand her' is struck off.
Was this GP struck off just because he asked a Muslim woman to remove her veil?
How likely does that sound? 🤷♀️
Did he actually ask her to remove her veil 'because he was struggling to understand her?'
Let's take a look at what really happened based on the tribunal reports...

Bereaved family members of Covid victims write to Nigel Farage urging him to sack his Croydon candidate who said COVID was a "staged event" by the US military, with vaccines used to control the population.
Reform has not responded to our story revealing his views
bylinetimes.com/2026/04/15/r...
So it turns out Nigel Farage's widely-reported claims that 'Boriswave' migrants will cost every household £20,000 are based on dodgy figures and inflated assumptions.
Reform have simply invented their own numbers…” say experts.

Somewhere deep in the Vatican a mixed team of cardinals and professional comedy writers are on hour six of trying to craft a papal tweet God would be ok with but which nevertheless calls Vance a couch-fucker.
Might I humbly offer, "I turn the other cheek, not the other couch cushion (5:39)."
Yes is winning on 58%
Mail is running a poll on whether the UK should rejoin the EU.
Takes seconds to vote and it's going hilariously well...

Now up to 39% in favour, 45% against …so a good hard push should be able to turn that poll around
The deputy leader of Reform UK, Richard Tice, owns a property company - Quidnet REIT.
From 2020 to 2022 it paid Tice and his trust £600k in dividends. Quidnet should have paid £120k of tax on those dividends. It didn't.
A 🧵 with evidence from the company's own filings:
You'd think this whole bizarre affair would be a far bigger story
Condolences. What a wonderful sentiment about both your parents.
Beware EU nationals with Settled Status....you might well need to generate a Share Code from UKGov to show to boarding officials in the EU for flights back to UK.
There’s a hidden industry ripping off HMRC and ordinary taxpayers.
“Advisers” promise big tax refunds. They invent expenses, file bogus claims, and take a cut. When HMRC comes knocking, it’s the taxpayer left with the bill.
A tribunal has just exposed one such firm.

Something I don't think the UK boasts about enough - and a great rebuttal to Reform and the Tories' anti-net zero propaganda:
The UK is home to 7 out of the top 10 biggest offshore wind farms in the world. 10 of the top 20. And 6 in 10 of the largest ones in the world currently under construction.
It's the most hideous piece of 'show me your knits' EVER to be posted on this site...and don't get me started on the price tag
Right?
Pretty quiet this morning. Nice and quick.
He's suddenly popping up everywhere again.
This week, Brexit finally killed our family business. We cleared out our warehouse, handed back the keys, paid the final bills and said goodbye to our last employee.
What was once a thriving firm died a slow, sad death, all thanks to Farage, Johnson and the gullible idiots they conned. 1/18
@quietriotpod.bsky.social This would have been a great addition to yesterday's episode!
When we paid for the visa renewal a few months ago, it was around £4000 in total, for 2.5 years. Around £1600 a year, just so we can live together.
Jesus, listening to somebody else reading his ramblings makes them sound even more insane!
Lucy Powell was on the show 2 weeks ago when it was filmed in Manchester, the city where her constituency is. Mike Tapp was on in Dover end of last year.
"It is outrageous that people will be buying homes that are expensively heated with gas when we have perfectly good technology – heat pumps – that can be installed instead."
My comments @theguardian.com new homes in the UK still using gas heating.

BREAKING: The blackout in Spain and Portugal in April 2025 did NOT happen because of renewables.
The final ENTSO-E report on last year's Iberian blackout is out — and it's essential reading for anyone working on the energy transition.

Amazon are partnering with Comic Relief to sell their red noses. Last year Comic Relief raised £34 million which is how much Jeff Bezos makes in six hours. Dig deep everyone.
