Quick Rhythm Rivals update:

I’m now planning to open auditions for remaining voice roles around the start of November! (Please be aware these are VOLUNTEER positions)

I’ll be rolling out a new graphic with more details on it soon! Keep an eye out!

The Rhythm Rival gang is all set and ready to perform their first concert. Bailey is shooting some flames out of her bass. Sal shreds on his anchor guitar. With mic in hand, Adagio enthusiastically pumps their fist up into the air. Feral gives a little half-hearted twirl of their drumsticks. And on keyboard, Damini shoots some fireworks from her mechanical hands.

This summer has been a bit rough for me, including a move, but I'm finally getting back into the animator seat and getting through more storyboards for Rhythm Rivals!

Rhythm Rivals Update:

I really want to get the RR story out there for folks to enjoy, but the pilot has been going at a snails pace. So I figured a quicker way to get this ball rolling is to make a visual novel out of the pilot episode!

I’d like to make the VN available on itchio (maybe steam) with a “pay what you want” for it. The funds from that will go directly back into the pilot like paying voice actors/musicians along with other help

I do want to preface that there will not be voice acting in the VN, but there will be music!

So @rhythmrivals.bsky.social will be having a visual novel release before the pilot to help gain an audience for the project and potentially more funding for it! Hoping to get that done in the near future!

In addition to storyboarding, I've been working on turn arounds for the Rhythm Rivals crew! Here's the main bandmates. I've had some great help from @dragonbeak.bsky.social to help turn these out even faster.

Hey folks, so the kickstarter didn’t meet its goal. And that’s ok. It might be the end of that, but Rhythm Rivals is just beginning!

I will still continue chugging along with preproduction with storyboards as I look for other options of moving forward.

01 - Oldest OC: Adagio!!

Originally based off my custom character from Rock Band (who was a drummer). Adagio has gone through so many iterations. But that green fur trim jacket remained through out lol

02 - Newest OC: Tanya (She/Her - on right)

I designed her for the pilot (but unfortunately her scenes got cut BUT she would appear in future episodes!)

She's a drummer/dj of a Drum n Bass duo "CatScratch." Her counterpart, Lynx (they/them), is the bassist and leader.
