Second in the series, seeing where this goes.

Chunghwa Telecom is apparently contacting foreigners to reconfirm their phone data plans and some white dudes are upset about it, according to their online posts. Dunno, I've lived in Taiwan a similar amount of time, but then again, I'm a citizen.

White dudes in Taiwan: "Those foreigners and their supporters in the U.S. deserve all the horrible treatment they're getting!"

Also white dudes in Taiwan: "How dare they slightly inconvenience me by calling to reconfirm my data plan!"

I nearly made it to 2026 without a friend writing an email to me that was obviously written using Gmail's "Help me write this" AI.

At least my disappointment was real.

Saw my book in the library of the university where I'm currently doing a master's program...I want to sign it with something encouraging any student who happens to check it out, but I'm not sure how the librarians would feel about that. Ask first, or just do it and hope I don't get caught?
