As a bonsai enthusiast a lot of trees we grow are much more beautiful in the winter for their structure and there is a bonsai show in Swindon in Februry based around the Winter Image philosophy.

Currently in compost bags so was going to stockpile through the winter leave it the bags then use some to mulch all my container roses and also add as a reactor to my compost heap.

Have come across a supply of horse manure,should I leave it and not bother? Well rotted and mature though.

Was hoping to but its bleak down here in West Cornwall,went out in the garage and noticed the bike had a puncture so getting that sorted!

Made the switch yesterday and gradually leaving Twitter behind,good to see some of my regular goto accounts are already here.😁

Just waiting for the first frosts to knock the foliage back so I can lift some of mine and store for the winter.

Went out on Sunday am in West Cornwall and was really surprised how dry and hard packed some of the trails were.But its rained non stop since yesterday morning now!

Had 2 full flushes of stunning blooms on this rose "The Pilgrim" this year. #roses#gardening

So when I'm not on the bike or in the garden I also enjoy getting the lathe on the go and crack on with some woodturning!

Aswell as cycling ,also have a keen interest in bonsai.Developing this cotoneaster over the next few years.
