I enjoyed the casual mode in Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology since I already had played the original DS version and it cut out the mook fights.
(Plus you could engage with the enemy if you really wanted.)

I keep my OLED for pixel-based and sub-720p games that look awful scaled up on the Switch 2.
(Granted I play in handheld mainly, so this wouldn’t be as much of an issue for docked players.)

I’m excited to replay Hyrule Warriors, since they accidentally made it so portable runs at 1080p natively.
Supposedly the frame rate dips are basically gone now.
I hope more of those upgrade patches roll out (the free ones that just fixed the resolution and such), since a few of my Switch 1 games look really bad upscaled to the 1080p screen.

Had to book an Uber to go to bank. While it was a short distance, fibromyalgia makes that difficult.
Driver verbally mentions the distance like I wasn’t aware of it booking the ride. He then took out his phone and showed me the map.
Thankfully it stopped there, but I’m still shook up from it.

…it’s shockingly alarming how easy it is to lose hours to playing said minigame, I must admit.

Panel 1 Gustopher is playing a classic game as his Dad watches. Mewbert is also supervising. August: Crouch three times and punch the wall for a health item. Gustopher: How did you know that? Panel 2 August begins the explain the logic of older games. Mewbert gets bored and something is behind the couch. August: Older games can be weird but they start making sense after you play enough. Gustopher: Oh... Okay. Panel 3 Mewbert falls asleep. Gustopher: Now I'm stuck. Panel 4 August provides some of his wisdom and Mewbert is suddenly awakened. August: Combine the mayo with the flute and give it to the crying squid while crouching. Gustopher: THAT MAKES SENSE TO YOU? It also turns out the crouching does nothing. August just happened to crouch a lot when he played the game and assumed that was an important element.

I think one of the main draws for me in playing any new game is reaching a new town/village and seeing all the places and people I can interact with.
I love to sightsee when I play my games too! That’s a big part of it for me tbh.
