Oh hey, I have a book coming out May 15th! It's the final book in a Epic Fantasy Romance trilogy!

I don't run from my problems. I binge read books in a blanket burrito like an adult instead. #booksky
Thinking about how my fantasy worldβs economy would collapse if I actually did the math...
Ahh yes! In the actual text I agree! I'm still on the backend for myself though haha.
My hyperfocus on mapmaking is getting me right now hahaha
I'm planning on expanding more to be able to have a more connected universe between series in this setting. So this is taking a lot more worldbuilding than I normally do. We gotta think about *history* now.
Any general worldbuilding tips are helpful! I'm having fun though, truly. #writingcommunity
HELP I'm swimming in the ocean of worldbuilding! Tips are appreciated!
With my final book in The Hollowed War trilogy in its final stages before release, I'm moving on to worldbuilding for my next series. #worldbuilding
I learned that you get in a depressive funk after being sick. It's called "post viral fatigue". Those with ADHD have an even harder time to get back to their mental best.
My son started daycare last year and has been ill about every 2-3 weeks since. I struggled to be creative in 2024
Welp...
I keep telling myself "just lose yourself into your fictional worlds and other's fictional worlds, you'll be blissfully unaware!"
But then also "They did what now!? Oh I've got to complain to my friendos about this."

It depends on the niche, I think. Here on my author account, I agree. It is hard to find people talking about book stuff. I have an art account that is popping off. I constantly have something new to look at and engage with.
There's got to be a secret I fell into on one niche and not the other!
Seriously! "This book touched me and changed my life. 3/5 stars."
or even the opposite: "This book needs a lot of work and was slow. 5/5"
readers are the best and amusing.
The audio on this got garbled. Oh bluesky. Video is still a mess for you isn't it?
When you're so into a book and get really really sad....

That feminine urge to write about a man who has all the magical powers known and yet he can't help but submit to some random woman who dropped into his life.

Not me getting a bunch of pantry staple recipes made because I think the world is ending.
Nope. That's another Fantasy Romance Author who has read and watched too many stories about the end.
You probably did haha!
Yeah, my little started daycare this past fall and I feel like it's been a constant illness since then. He turns 4 next week so PreK is coming up soon. I keep telling myself his immune system will get better after this. I hope it's not wishful thinking.
I feel this in my bones
Every two weeks. EVERY TWO WEEKS my kid gets sick.
Then we have a week of illness. I have to squeeze in all the work and productivity into two week increments before having to take a weekish off to tend to a sick kiddo.
Someone tell me it gets better.
Have you considered, π BOOKS?
A picture of a cross-stitch with a corn and floral border. A long the border are crows eating at the corn. In the middle, surrounded by plants, trees, and various creatures are the words THINGS ARE GONNA BE DIFFICULT, BUT YOU ARE GONNA BE DIFFICULTER.
I appreciate that #booksky is getting bigger instead of the more visual platforms. I am not the most aesthetic person, but I do thrive with text posts.
I can do this all day, not so much the beautiful spreads of books.
I was already following most of them so I must have ignored myself when I looked haha
That's my issue. I'd love to go there, if there was any near me but there's not. I can't drive hours just to go to costco :(
oh wait did you already have me hahaha
psssst Kat can you add me :D
Are you 30+, have ADHD, obsess about fictional fantasy men? Cool Cool Cool. Me too. Let's be friends online who send each other memes to only respond with "lol".
It'll be the closest friendship you'll ever have.
Yup! I don't know of a comparable good editing app either. Ugh
Capcut, the video editing app/software is too. Capcut just worked so well on the phone to edit for the other apps.
I think what I will miss the most about TikTok is I had so many recipe videos faved! I just redid my kitchen and I was planning on trying a lot new baking recipes and now they're gone :(
