My tribe just announced a language revitalization program with help from the Catawba tribe who also has developed a program.
My folks will be working to bring back one of the languages we would have spoken, which is a Cheraw, a Siouan language.

Tribal leadership is actively working to locate the individual, gather accurate information, and coordinate with the appropriate authorities to secure their release. At this time, details surrounding the detention remain limited. I urge the public to refrain from spreading unverified information while this matter is being reviewed. Standing Rock Sioux Tribe will continue to advocate for the protection of our citizen's rights and will provide updates as appropriate.

While wearing a ribbon skirt yesterday, I ran into a yt woman and her 2 teens who held the door for me.
Mom’s face was amazing. She gasped and then her teens stopped: “Oh my gawd! Your outfit is so beautiful!” They all three squealed and I couldn’t help but giggle.
