I played in my first competitive paper tournament yesterday - a Summoner Skirmish for #riftbound! I made top 8 out of 34 competitors! We then split prize money, so I ended at seed #5 with a 4-1-1 record. I did not expect to do so well!
Playing paper has been so much fun! Highly recommend!

I have been playing #Riftbound at locals about 4 times a week, and it has been a blast! I highly recommend trying it if you can get your hands on a starter deck!
I did not realize how much I missed card games - it just scratches a different itch.
Starting tomorrow at 6am CST I will be streaming LoR for 66 hours! It will be a mix of me playing new and old decks, making tier lists, memories with friends, and playing old videos when I am sleeping. I will be streaming on Twitch as well as attempting my first Youtube stream!
Sorry forgot to post earlier with the holiday but congrats to @thelucablue.bsky.social on winning

Winners drawn in a few days. Good luck!
They don't have a dev team and haven't for years, so I think turning everything to 1 gold was the most simple solution that any person not familiar with the code could do.
The game gives you gold constantly (even just logging in) so you can pretty much do that
The reality is that without TESL I would have never found the same success in LoR that I did. The game taught me a lot in content creation as well as deckbuilding.
I will miss it a lot. I still play it occasionally and always had comfort that it was there.
Soon to be no longer
TESL announced that it will be shutting down servers Jan 2025.
This game means a lot to me. It is how I got my first 1000 subscribers on YouTube, my first casting gigs, and became a Twitch Partner
More importantly, it's how I met friends that I'm still close with today
So sad
