Chatting a friend who is a Leicester fan he was saying that average income in league 1 is 8-10million and that barely covers the running costs of their training facility- they have the biggest wage bill in the champ- they are in big trouble

Ballot came good, designated standing up in the gods, first time taking my kids to Wembley, can’t wait- they have a good record in crunch games too 💪
The daily breakfast relegation maths calculations feel pretty good today. West Ham currently need 7points to overhaul us, we beat Burnley at home and they need 10 from 5 games- they have tough fixtures , I won’t be happy till mathematically safe but I like the direction of travel #lufc
Don’t be too hard on yourself- It’s hard to plan anything with sky sports constantly moving fixtures, a Saturday 3pm kick off feels rare
Possibly they have a v cheap squad and low wage levels meaning they could spend bigger like Sunderland? Their survival prob depends on how well they recruit and if FF is up to the job- I would think prob more likely Burnley
It would be the thing dreams are made of but as you said get past wolves first-big opportunity to feel good about survival and be able to enjoy the cup
Do you make some changes for the Bournemouth away game- try keep some legs fresh or stay strong for the league?
It will get interesting then 👀
It’s tricky all round, thousands of us have been on the season ticket waiting list for years with little hope of getting one, tickets to games are luck these days so loyalty and attendance are not the same. We have been to 7 games this year but applied for more than double that #lufc
It’ll be interesting to see if they do an end of season comparison and how their ranking changed 👀
Extremely neat sand writing there👍
We thought the same thing- can’t afford the top end tickets on top of travel etc- it’s a strange quirk!
It was a refreshing change that the ref wasn’t a big six fanboy- and after some notable recent refereeing apology letters he was solid last night
And after this weekend Forest have arguably the toughest finish
Earlier in the season after a similar gap because of international break and cup fixtures- they were really poor against Everton (I think)- very undercooked and not match sharp- hoping for similar on Monday 💪
Surely it was expected that west ham won last night same as we expect to beat them next week- some of the headloss over what we expected to happen is baffling. It’s still in our hands, we have some decent fixtures to take points from, of course it’s not easy this is #lufc
It’s London marathon weekend too so even more demand
When you add up injuries, subs and VAR it’s not a massive shock plus the were desperate for West Ham to score 😂
Also, it’s a cup game where it’s do or die for both teams, takes pressure off the losing team to just go for it- late cup come backs happen a lot, thought #lufc showed huge character to regroup for extra time and pens
Apparently yes- he doesn’t like the attention and stays out of the public gaze but there were sightings yesterday 😂
Watching TV today I expect images of Danny Dyer holding a paper cup will incessantly interrupt the programmes for no apparent reason #lufc
Thought Okafor and Tanaka were excellent today- loved Okafor’s direct running - he scared their defence
Clearly the relegation battle is massive for #lufc and our future but chances FA Cup semi finals come round so rarely we can’t ignore it. Next game is 8 days away and a chance to go into it with momentum, let’s do this and take this chance Leeds united 💪
It’s been non-stop for the last couple of weeks, the open bias in the premier league both with press coverage and refereeing is staggering and boring- it actually would be brilliant for the premier league if spurs went down, properly freshen it up and challenge some of the sense of entitlement
People forget how incredible the football was under an incredible man
It has been painful, perhaps a compliment in there somewhere for us?! we desperately need the first goal in games to open them up a bit, they will be horrendously tense games
To be fair Sunderland and Brentford are better teams and aren’t in those positions and they set out to spoil- perhaps the teams below us need a win more than them and will at least have a go?
We really missed Gudmunson tonight #lufc
Probably right, I think tonight we would benefit more from fast throw ins before they are all set and sat in deep, keep the pace higher and moving them around
I agree, it was a bit different at the start of the season and mixed things up , now teams are ready for it and it’s proving ineffective
