I love the Daredevil series. Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio are so well cast. The cast is amazing in general. I'm very entertained & enjoy waiting a week for the next episode (like I'm a kid again). So much more exciting with anticipation.

STEM person here. Can confirm hunt for freebies is rampant at conventions (even pins, candies, etc.).
Grad school mentality of "Lookout for seminars/meetings so as to go get free coffee & snacks" is fused in our brains.

a major majority of folks didn't pay & essentially we have a revolt/revolution.
But too many fear/know the vast majority will pay & one can't afford to take a chance (I include myself in this group). If I had no ties, no dependents, etc. it'd likely be an easier choice but that isn't the case.

Yes, very depressing. To me, the "why?" comes down to the "Law" destroying the little guy individual while the rich & corrupt would get a warning or slap on the wrist fine (that would be reduced in the courts such that they pay nothing) - we'd be in prison.

I had both too but I don't remember sets staying together long. They were broken down, combined, and reused to just make "whatever I want". That along with my tinker toys made for hours of building fun!
Sadly now spilled into CBS, WSJ, NYT, .. etc.
