My spirit is a little dishevelled this past month or so but so very supportive of an end to genocide, an end to all attempts to silence peaceful and democratic processes such as protests and civil outcry at wrongs. I have been calling for the rate of #JobSeeker to be raised for at least the last four terms of federal government in Australia. The Morrison government doubled the payment through the Covid Pandemic so regular people wouldn’t have to learn how inadequate it is. 😡 #auspol

A Norfolk Robin. I'm told they're the largest of the Pacific island assemblage of robins, which are only somewhat related to Australian robins.

The Norfolk Island sub-species of Silvereye.

A Norfolk Island Flycatcher. I'm told they're more closely related to New Zealand flycatchers than Australian ones.

The Norfolk Island sub-species of Golden Whistler. This one is female (I didn't see a male Golden Whistler while I was there).

I stopped procrastinating and went through my bird photos from Norfolk Island.

I saw fewer birds than I'd expected (I have half-informed speculations as to why). Here are a few of the small birds I saw (I do like the small birds).
