It’s finally happened. After 18 months. Finally, a media merger you can root for.

This is a snapshot of the failure of MSM and the concomitant ignorance within the American electorate about what is happening in and to their country.

Think about this: A retired game show host may end the world as we know it. Only a master satirist could write this scenario, but Mark Twain is dead.

Reading an old anthology, I was struck by a few poems by Ellen de Young Kay. A student of Yvor Winters, I learned, whose chapbook SIXTEEN POEMS appeared in 1955. Soon after, she seemed to have vanished… Actually, she had become Sister Ellen Stephen. And she still writes.

Rebecca Solnit Says the Left’s Next Hero Is Already Here

"...actually the world mostly gets changed through collective effort. Thich Nhat Hanh said before he died a few years ago that the next Buddha will be the Sangha. The Sangha, in Buddhist terminology, is the community of practitioners."

Fish, I appreciate you

Once when my sister was crying,
a gentle school of tiny fishes
kissed her feet.
We were sitting on a dock
at the time, our dad had just died.
Thank you, Fish.
