"It has been a while, hasn't it? Hmm, I suppose it is. I definitely missed hanging out with you." He tapped his "fingers" against the table, or what little semblance of them he even had considering how his paws were constructed.

"I guess we are. Its been a hot minute since I've had a burger from this place, if I'm being honest. So this'll be a treat."

He leans back into his seat, hands behind his head, as he waits for their food to arrive.

"I think I know what I want, which also happens to be a burger..." 💧 If anyone fit the bill of the stereotypical American that thrived off of burgers, it was this man.

"I heard the weather can be all over the place there. You get the full range, all four seasons. Summers really hot, and winters very cold." He's looking over his own menu somewhat absentmindedly. He's probably going to get what he usually does. "Heh, guess I kinda forgot to mention it."

"Fair enough."

He'd take a seat at the table across from Kid.

"Yeah, its pretty chilly out there. I guess that's New York for you. A lot different from the temperatures in Texas during this time of year."

"Haven't eaten all day? We need to be sure to get you a decent amount of food then."

He can't help but shake his head a bit, feeling as though Kid should be taking better care of himself here. At long last, they make it inside the burger joint and can take refuge from the cold.

⤴️ "Yeah, it shouldn't be too much further. We're almost there; in fact, I can see the building in the distance."

He points in the general direction the burger joint they're supposed to be eating at is located.

"Huh. Sounds about like him. He's always so eager to teach baseball to anyone willing to learn."

With them being up in New York, the chill was especially brutal. Drump, however, was used to this. ⤵️

"I guess you'll see once you try it."

He pondered the question Kid asked. What had he been doing lately besides baseball and playing the guitar?

"Playing video games, I suppose, and helping Kuro out with more baseball training."

"May be true, but New York is like the flavor capital of the USA."

He was clearly proud of his home state, maybe a bit too proud.

"I'll definitely introduce you to it. Who knows? After you try it, you might wanna put it on everything."

"Guess its one of those things you either have the knack for or don't." He shrugs. "So, how long do you plan on visiting Earth for?"

"Ok, maybe I'll give you more credit."

Something of a cheeky smile tugs at the corners of his lips.

"Anyway, yeah, I've been here before. Nice local chain. Some of the best burgers you'll ever eat. They got a special sauce that's out of this world."

"On the contrary, its a place to get burgers." He chuckles softly. "Yeah, probably for the best. Knowing you, you'd probably get lost trying to navigate New York."

"Then hanging out is what we'll do. And as for that, this is where I come in. I live here, so I can easily navigate the area. There's a fast food place not far from here, actually." He points his thumb in the general direction of it.

"Ohhh, so you have soccer at least. Yeah, soccer is pretty cool. I played that once with a friend of mine; I can't say I was ever any good at it, though."

|| Laughs in Drump being a robot too. (A robot that happens to not look like one at all because he's that advanced.)

"I guess that makes sense. So... more hobbies outside of your job, huh? Maybe I could help you with that, or at the very least maybe we can hang out if nothing else. You wanna go grab a bite to eat? I'll pay for it." He offers now standing to his feet.

"Well, playing the guitar here is just a simple hobby. My main thing is baseball. Assuming you're not really from around here... Is baseball a thing where you're from?"

"Heh, glad to hear. Its nice to meet you, Gothy! The name's Drump." He extends out his paw for a handshake.

"Oh yeah, if I'm not playing baseball, then I guess you'll likely catch me playing my guitar, heh." He grins before his expression goes back to normal. "Guess I'm not really surprised. When's the next time you get vacation days?"

"Oh, do you like it?" A smile overtakes his features as he continues to play passionately. His first love may be baseball, but music certainly holds a strong second place.

He looks up from his guitar to see the tiny creature coming towards him. He's never seen anything like it before. Though there's definitely stranger things in his timeline. Alien contact isn't out of the ordinary. "Oh, hi there."

"I guess that's true. What've you been up to since I've last seen you anyway?" He sets his acoustic guitar to the side so he can give Kid his full attention.
