I think it could be confusing as an audio book as the narration switches between different characters and is sometimes in first person, third person, even second person. When you start a new chapter it can take a while to pick up which character is narrating now

Not in terms of sticking with it, I haven’t wanted to stop reading it - but in some sections it does get a bit bogged down in details about political machinations. It’s overall very detailed. I read when I go to bed & some nights I only manage a few pages lol. But I do enjoy a long & involved book

Heavy on politics, and very good. Took me a while to get into it, but worth it. A frightening look at what’s probably ahead.
