More support is always good. Doing little projects to finish things up the next couple of weeks and hopefully dropping the dock lines and will be out cruising.

Ronan ,our dinghy, has a new to us motor. It's a little 5hp honda from 2006. Should be good for ship to shore and slightly longer distances if needed. Won't get us on plane, but that's ok. More to come, stay tuned!

In these troubled times, we need to remember that humanity always finds a way. We need to be hopeful that truth and justice will prevail and that the people will rise up and get in some good trouble.

The thing about this is that not everything can be done online now there is still a lot of things that need to be done via phone or going in which isn't possible for some people.

When cruising or even iut on weekend trips, getting to shore is something that is important to stretch your legs and explore. That means a good dinghy is in order. We picked up a 9 foot fiberglass rib by Caribe for a great deal

Part of the struggle with doing boat work sometimes is not the lack of motivation or the lack of knowledge. It's the fact that you can't find the part or tool you bought a month ago to do the job. How can things disappear in a 30 ft by 11 ft space? I just don't understand. That is all.

With daylight savings time in effect, sunset in Friday Harbor is now 7 pm, which means at 7:30, we get cool shots like this. For people in the know, the Big Dark is over!

Living on a boat is just doing boat work in exotic places, is what they say. But in reality, it's doing boat work at the dock you have been at for the last 4 months because it's winter in the PNW, which means rain and 60 knot wind storms. The latest adventure is installing a 2 kw inverter fun fun.
