How do screen filters interact with tools for reading assistance, used by for instance sight-impared persons?

In 1915 Charlotte Perkins Gilman was fed up with men starting wars. I think she was fed up with a lot else, as well. She wrote the feminist anthem ”Herland”, about a matriarchal and peaceful society without men. The book is oh so relevant still today. A favourite!
