Went to the beach with my wife's family. Noticed my father-in-law has very similar nipples to my wife. Doesn't make me feel weird. Doesn't put me off. Just not a thing I can tell anyone.

I really struggled with the second as well. A lot of the dynamics at play felt too YA, but that comes with the territory. Three is a lot better throughout, and gives some focus on characters that are a bit more interesting. There's good payoff in reading it.
