Great idea! Would love a simple 16mm rental too. Thought a few times about using my Bolex SB 16, but a brighter viewfinder, a quiet quartz-synced cam, and a 120m mag would be nice. An Arriflex SR2 or even BL16 for a fair flat rate would be awesome — but offers are super rare now.
