What brought you there? The last time I was there, there was still a wall! And we're going to be in Frankfurt, Cologne, Lake Constance, Fussen, Munich.... no Berlin, I'm afraid. Trying to DuoLingo my 40+ years old German back.

Guessing Trump's stupid "war" is the reason Condor just cut its direct flights from PDX to Frankfurt by one-third. Just did a mad scramble to replace a flight only four weeks out.

Condor seems to have dropped from 3 flights to 2 a week from PDX to FRA for flights in four weeks. Mad scramble to rebook. Guessing I have Trump's stupid war to thank.

Answering reader emails. One is from a 7th grader, but he's asking questions I don't think I thought about until I was in my thirties. Is it wrong to be jealous?

I have been a runner since I was a freshman in college. Never fast, but consistent and sometimes with the most incredible joy. While it's a myth that running causes arthritis, my knees will need to be replaced sooner rather than later. I want to make it 1 more year, to 50 years of running.

Hillsboro Artists' Regional Theatre Bram Stoker Award-nominated author Cat Winters reimagines “Little Red Riding Hood” as ahaunting, modern fairy tale. When a wolf roams nearby in the deep, dark woods, Ruby and hergrandmother must decide who to trust and who to fear.

If you still have smell loss in a few weeks, smell training helped. I still have some lingering smell loss from
getting Covid in 2021.
