A Twitter exchange in which a user describes "the western canon" as "the 4 hour work week, the subtle art of not giving a f*ck, how to win friends and influence people, the 48 rules of power, the secret"
late to the party but Twitter is something else lol
technically possible but maybe not a good use of funds? (and that's leaving aside politics)
Technically this is the House, not the Trump Admin, though they're closely aligned
I think there's pretty clear evidence that Dem voters are *dramatically* less loyal to politicians than Republicans. See an awful lot more folks tying themselves in knots to justify Trump than Biden and that's despite objectively much worse policy from the former!
Medicine is about science and facts. If you can't explain how the science is wrong I don't care if you think you're right about politics
Medical care is not "propaganda"
I'm not sure I understand - where is the new supply coming from?
That still seems kind of bad?
Would also confuse the politics of it - Trump could then argue that things would have been great if he was allowed to continue them!
I don't know that it soaked up much attention for those not terminally online. Google didn't find any major media articles about it, either?
No replacement is needed. Inclusionary zoning benefits the lucky housing-lottery winners at the expense of literally everyone else in the entire metro
Where's the 'S' from?
Good thing we've saved them from the horrors of some more shade
Yeah this is somehow another variant of "there exists an infinite money button, but also we shouldn't press it"
Could at least use it for property tax (which of course is a special case of wealth tax)
"Build Affordable Faster" more like "build nothing slower"
I see capitalism improving lives and protectionism trying to make things worse. What do you see?

Sure, you can also lower rents by lowering demand. But that's usually bad for other reasons, as is the case for the example you provide
But also notably this has not been a period of American decline? Why is manufacturing a goal?
Both can be true
yeah, by people who lost in the primary
