A picture of bikers on Raging River Trails. Above reads a headline "Raging River State Forest enters anger management courses". Next to the trail, new signage reads "Harmonious River Trail 1mi." and "Problem Solving Point 4.5mi." as the forest begins working on it's communication style and rebranding itself.

"I want to sincerely apologize for my behavior through the years when I yell, scream, and just unleash rage while you try to enjoy the outdoors. I realize that my anger caused you to be fearful of my trails, and I deeply regret causing you that pain" says Raging River in their apology letter.

When we say "yield to horses" on the trail, this is what we actually mean

"Sometimes, I hear hikers brag about their 'no-shave November' beards, but we all know that everyone prefers a fresh and frosty beard." said one cedar stick in Capitol State Forest this week.

So men, watch out, the sticks are jumping into the dating pool with enviable facial hair.

A headline that reads "Cold weather phenomenon proves a stick can grow a better beard than your ex". Below is a photo of a man hunting for a hint of stubble on his face, and another photo of a stick rocking a beard that even Santa would be jealous of.

For years science has proven that nature is better than any and every past relationship, but now a stick, yes the lowly stick, has come to rise above them all.

✨ The mud expert has spoken✨

With recent wet weather, trails may have mud, puddles, and exposed roots. Please come prepared for these conditions, stay on the trail, and leave no trace.

It’s winter. The air is cold. The synths are very moody. And yes, you still need to hydrate.

So THIS is what they mean by Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree....right?

Graphic, in general, says: Costal flood hazards possible due to high tide flooding, compound flooding and beach erosion. Never drive through flooded roads. Respect barriers and road closed signs.

We’re seeing the potential for coastal flooding today and Thursday due to what’s commonly called “King Tides” in combination with storm events. If you see a flooded road, don’t risk your it vehicle. Try a different route.

Don’t make an emergency worse for our busy first responders. #wawx
