In my suburb, the lawn chair brigade is a lovely mix of seniors, parents of small kids, & people with disabilities/Long Covid/chronic pain. Some of us brought extra water & snacks to share with anybody who was looking tired or overheated.

I’ve got fibromyalgia & vaccines hit me harder than typical. 1st shingles shot was bundled with TDAP & flu — took me out for 3 days. 2nd shingles shot was bundled with pneumonia & COVID 2nd booster — took me out for 4 days. 10/10 experience, would make the same choices in a heartbeat.

I got both of my shingles shots a couple of years ago. They were Shingrix & my arm was sore for a couple of days … but it wasn’t nearly as bad as the first Pfizer jab for COVID-19. I hope yours goes well!
