What a unique reading experience! It’s one of those pieces of art that makes me question, “Where does someone even begin making something like this?”

As my years-long DnD game is coming to a close, I decided to get a commission done of all of the player characters and my main NPC.

I think it turned out great!

Pretty much all the heroes are fun to play as. They do a great job with that.

If nothing else, JR is more fun than Sombra

For me, it's hard to get past Chester's struggles with mental health and her strong ties with scientology, which has... not great views on mental health care. There was also that stuff with speaking up for Danny Masterson (which she did apologize for tbf).

Does have a great voice though.

08th MS Team - Vietnam-war esque gundam in the jungles of earth

War in the Pocket - a kind of meta look at gundam fandom and how they overlook the anti-war messaging

Speaking as someone who loves Gundam and the main UC timeline... it can be very hit and miss.

The OG 0079 has some good compilation movies and holds up surprisingly well. It does have some strong woman characters, but you are correct in assuming they are not the focus and are often sidelined.

Played through Sayonara Wild Hearts again this weekend. Still slaps.

After DM-ing 30 sessions and 2 real-world years of leaving hints and breadcrumbs, I finally pulled off the "Eclipse-like" event that I had been planning from the start.

(It wasn't nearly as traumatic, and the players seemed to have a good time, despite it being catastrophic to the game world)
