I pissed some people off when I said I don't care for most classic girl's literature (Pollyanna, Anne of Green Gables, Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm), so, since I don't know when to quit, let's dig deeper.

I always resented that the girls had to imagine adventure while the boys got to do it.
