Nappy's a topic for another time though. The point of this is that PurpleRodri, Joaquin, has returned to Pokemon Youtube after 5 years of running from Sexual Assault allegations without so much as a statement, meaning he is pretending it doesn't exist despite an article in fucking Newsweek.
The truth is, I know why. Because after Nappy, everyone in his stupid little friend circle said to not talk about him or others because "You weren't in the friend group" and that's fucking stupid because TheKingNappy is an active groomer with a Pokemon fanbase.
Fuck staying silent. Fuck them.
I'm not just saying this out of nowhere, plenty of people in the group noticed this too. PurpleRodri got exposed, he left for 5 years without a word to his Pokemon audience, came back last year, and no one's said a damn thing despite the fact he once tried to sexually assault a Poketuber at PAX.
By having this mentality, the Poketubers created an energy in the community where everyone should stop mentioning certain people entirely. Browbeaten into silence. Even when those people are fucking predators.
Which explains how PurpleRodri can just come back despite sexual assault allegations.
You see, these Poketuber cliques are special. Both when they're causing drama, you either side with them or you're harassed. When exposures happen, all of a sudden those same cliques are holy. You're not allowed to talk about the bad shit because you weren't in the group. How DARE you discuss it.
I said there was going to be more. A lot of Poketubers have a clique mentality. Then again, if you've been around these Pokemon spaces, it's obvious. But even when someone's exposed, they'll use that clique mentality to say things like "Only WE can talk about it."
Which is why so much is fucked up.
This is probably the most obvious callout anyone could do and just doesn’t. While Giancarlo Parimango threatened retaliation in the past, it does not excuse the absolute silence from the overwhelming part of the community after he’s been in controversy on multiple fronts. Simply, they don't care.
Well that went about as I expected. Luckily, others are getting the information out there too. Can't ignore all of us.
