Hey book reviewers! Got a burning question but were too shy, embarrassed etc. to ask? Like what if you had a crap experience reading a book you’ve promised to review? Something else?
Let me know and I might use it in a promo video to celebrate the one-year anniversary for my guide book.
TIA!
Dean reads a harrowing chapter his new book, Katrina: After 20, in which he recounts waking up to what would be the worst storm in American history, and having to listen helpless as an unknown woman's final words are a plea for help that can never come.

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by my friend @rickhipson.bsky.social for his podcast called What Screams May Come. We talked about my book Katrina: After 20, and at the end I read from one of the earlier chapters during the storm.
My pal, @deanitaliano.bsky.social bravely shares his story of being trapped in a storm that took much from many, surviving the aftermath. Our chat Includes Dean reading a chapter from Katrina: After 20 in which a stranger's last words can still be heard 20 years after.

Ha! You think that's a shame? I had no idea she was in the Biker Riders with Tom Hardy until I was looking at her IMDB page following this movie. I saw that and remembered that her role was my favourite in that movie although I hadn't known who Jody was at the time. She really is fantastic.
My chat with Jodie Comer who stars in the new rage infested film, @28yearslater.bsky.social, just went up over at @ruemorguemag.bsky.social.

I swear, the more I listen to these songs, the more I want to hear more. Love the variety in their stuff, and this is a great example of throwing so much at the creative wall, and having it stick.
