Not a bad app promo from KFC. Haven’t had it in ages so there’s lunch sorted!

That’s certainly an interesting blurb Google has hallucinated for my Mastodon profile.

I mean, I love The West Wing but I’m pretty sure I wasn’t a character 🤣🤣

For years now, “Groundhog Day” has appeared in my list of purchased movies twice. I have no idea why, but it’s the only movie that does this and I find it exceedingly amusing.

Last year I broke a 25 year tradition and watched Hocus Pocus 2. I was terribly disappointed.

This year we’re back to the original.

It’s close enough to the time where if Sybil comes in she stays in for the night. As such she’s going to spend every last moment outside even if it means sitting in the wind and rain. Hopefully she realises what a mistake that was when she’s notices the heating is on inside.

Living in a walkable neighbourhood. I don’t understand why people are so against this. It’s been a month since I’ve been in a car.

Happy 50th Birthday to the Sydney Opera House - here's a couple of snaps I've taken over the years.

I work from home these days but my old office had them including in every meeting room. It was definitely reassuring.

Moving out of a city CBD apartment into the mountains just over a year ago has done far more for my health though!

What a perfect winter morning for a stroll!

I prefer spring to be honest (which isn't far away now - plants are flowering already!). It gets up to 47c here in summer which is awful.

Definitely not summer where I live in Australia this morning!

We did have a few 21-24 degree days last week though which were glorious. The cat was very pleased and spent all day outside sleeping in the sun.

They were great. I'm still friends (IRL) with a few of the people I met at tweet ups around 2008/2009! (and I actually joined Twitter at a BarCamp conf in 2008).

Went full retro last night and dialed into a BBS via 2600.network from Australia to the USA.

Given the “phone line” is an analogue port on my NEC PBX and external lines are SIP trunks these days I didn’t expect it to work - but it did at 24000bps!
