Acquisition news for bottom up and top down proteomics with Thermo acquiring Proteinaceous and MSAID.

Proteinaceous was founded in 2016 (possibly earlier) as a spin out from Neil Kelleher’s lab at Northwestern.

MSAID was spun out from Mathias Wilhelm and Bernhardt Kuster’s labs in 2019.

A new report is out that ranks Indianapolis #72 out of the 100 largest US Metros for street safety.

That makes complete sense- basically a whole new set of input data and jargon. I'd be happy to contribute anything that would be helpful, as we are running all of the different Olink technologies now.

Ah ok maybe it's that- this was the NPX csv file direct from the sequencing folks so I wasn't sure at all why it wasn't being accepted as a result file. I'll go through the columns today. I've emailed with a screenshot a couple of times but haven't heard back. Thanks for the info!

This is great news, and I hope all vendors continue to support THE vendor neutral option for MS data. Regardless, it was a shame that Skyline went without funding for a year from SCIEX
