I use adaptive cruise control during my frequent trips between Lexington and Charleston SC. But one thing makes me nervous-if traffic is slowing up ahead, my brake lights are not engaging and an increased risk of being rear ended.

A mere six of us have stood on a busy corner in a very red SC county and have received many more honks and 👍than middle fingers. We’ve done it twice and hope to grow our group after No Kings 3/28.

Kinda on topic-the best public bathroom experience I’ve had in the past year was in the communal, all genders bathroom at the Kansas City Airport. Floor to ceiling doors. Secure locks. Very clean.

I could have told them that weeks ago. I live in a Southern town and I have met many people who have never left the state, much to the country.

I was one of about 80 people who participated in a protest against ICE in a very red county in SC. It’s not many compared to other cities, but it gave me hope. The response from the vehicular traffic was mostly neutral, followed by many positive reactions. The number of outright negative was low.

Just posting this shows more bravery than the too many who remain silent.
