Good afternoon everyone! Today is the big day, our Gaz Appreciation Week 2026 prompt list reveal. With 67 total votes our community has determined out daily prompts! This now marks the beginning of our creation period, have fun everyone!

Only three days left until voting opens! We can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of these prompts and which ones will prevail!

Good news everyone! The Prompt Voting Form is reorganized and ready for another year of use. It’s exciting to see what the match ups will be with 77 different prompts and only 7 winners.

As we wait I have a question to help pass the time: What is your favourite Gaz quote of all time?

April is almost here, which means voting will open in the next few weeks! What are you all looking forward to the most this year for Gaz Appreciation Week? What prompts are you hoping to see?

For now, I hope this helped address any comments and concerns you may have. Please do not be afraid to reach out for clarification or to ask any questions.

With that all said, lets get ready for another fantastic event!

For similar reasons, this is why we have yet to create and strictly NSFW Gaz Appreciation Week account.

Next year this will be revisited.

Another suggestion made to us is to expand our platforms to Tumblr or Instagram. With regard to Tumblr, this is something we are interested in. However, for 2026, this is not feasible. As for Instagram, it is not a platform we are interested in expanding to.

If there is a third Gaz Week, we will reconsider and likely revisit the prompt submission phase of Gaz Appreciation Week. However, this year, for the sake of down scaling due to personal reasons, and acknowledging the feedback we received, this is the best course of action.

Prompts submitted last year, with the exception of the ones used in the formal event, will be reused. The voting sheet will be updated and rebalanced for fairness and to keep it fresh.

However, as you may have noticed, this year there will be no Prompt Submission period, only Prompt Voting. Due to the sheer volume of prompts we received last year, and the request for a larger creation period, we have made a compromise by removing submissions.

IMPORTANT: Changes from last year

Taking inspiration from the feedback form distributed at the end of Gaz Week 2026, we have increased the length of the creation period to 20-21 days (changed from ~10). This should help alleviate crunch time and allow for more participation.

Lastly, please be respectful. This project is meant to inspire creativity and be a source of joy. Please be mindful and kind to one another. Furthermore, bullying, harassment, and bigotry will not be tolerated. Furthermore, the use of generative AI is not welcome in this event.

Once posting begins, simply upload your piece on the corresponding day as will be outlined later on in the event.

Due to the values of this project, all creations made for this event MUST remain Gaz centric. However, shipping or elements of a ship is welcome.

As such, no NSFW works will be promoted by this account in the event they are created and tagged.

Next, for ease of curation/viewing, posts can either tag this account or use #GazAppreciationWeek2026. This will help organizers find participants works!

Like last year, this event is ran by @themightyscoot.bsky.social. Additionally, the guidelines largely remain the same.

This event is meant for everyone, meaning it is inherently SFW. However, creators who are primarily NSFW are welcome to participate.

Hello everyone!

I am proud to announce that Gaz Appreciation Week 2026 is a go! I will have more updates regarding schedules and changes within the next day or so, but in the meantime, thank you once again to @vozart.bsky.social for another wonderful banner to help start off this event!

Update: things are in the works behind the scenes and you will hear more from the project soon!

As of today, one year ago, this account and Gaz Week was born! I know it’s not quite the anniversary of the event itself, but perhaps share some kind thoughts and things you enjoyed about Gaz Appreciation Week 2025!
