The Timberwolf is my all time favorite 'mech going way back to the mid 1990s.
It's aesthetically perfect and the chassis is highly optimized. The Prime is far from perfect, but the LRM20s give it some dangerous burst damage. The A config is a deadly Warhammer clone.

1998-02 was around when I was introduced to "The Gazebo" on AOL, too. Not long after terms like "Transgender" were dropped from the TOS list. That might have had a hand in my introductions.
Looking back, it's astonishing how many people came out to me.
Wait, you're an artist. How could you not know more people who were trans? I've met several going back to the late 90s in art circles.
Also met many as a gamer - both PC and tabletop. Oh yeah, and many who were in the military...

I don't know how much of the player character in Pragmata is like Big Daddy. But the gynoid girl is less a Little Sister and more an adorable murder machine daughter surrogate.
Some players have found some easter eggs already. Like when you change the music in game, she notices and starts dancing.
Cartoon, wide layout, six panels, three on top, three below. =TOP ROW= * LEFT PANEL Wide shot: Mysterious robed figures carrying lanterns atop staves come to a lonely house in the middle of the night. ROBED FIGURE It is time. * RIGHT PANEL MOTHER We should never have got him a library card! ROBED FIGURE What is done cannot be undone. =LOWER ROW= *LEFT PANEL MOTHER We couldnโt see the harm! SON I am a writer now.
By Tom Gauld. So painfully true....
A quick messy wip from Superman day
A pair of screen shots featuring similar scenes in two different video games. The upper image shows the player character wearing futuristic armor aiming at a grotesque monster. The lower image features the player character wearing futuristic armor aiming at a hostile robot while an android girl hangs on to his back. The top image is labeled "Dead Space" The bottom image is labeled "Dad Space"
I kinda want to play Dad Space.
Hey, what's updog.
Terminator: I'll be back.......
or is it... Heresy?
No?
Well it's some damn type of Terminator. Oh right.. Bioroids. So probably some form of Tirolian grumbling when they think the Masters aren't listening.

A 3D rendered image where I recreated a scene from the MechWarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy expansion when a Ghost Bear Kodiak mech slices off a Smoke Jaguar Vulture's arm with a quartet of lasers.
And for those who recognize that scene, here's another one that follows it.

Hey artists, if you see this, post a dog.
"Wait," some of you might say. "That's not a dog. That's a Smoke Jaguar." Some others might see a Clan Vulture.
It's a MAD DOG! IT STILL COUNTS!

I played AOL MPBT and Gamestorm. While I don't know if I'd want to go back to the late 90s, y'all can check it out.

Beta Quadrant Blues.
And now finished. I think this is the happiest I've ever been with a completed model.
Lot's of new stuff added to the Storefront.
It's a great way to help a guy in desperate need of paying $1000s of dollars in medical bills.. and getting yourself some swag of my art, at the same time. And if I get back up to Gen or Adepticon, will be happy to sign.

The only thing I don't like about reading a good book is that eventually, I come to the end and have to return to reality.

My experiment to prove that green makes a better base coat than black for shading continues!
Step 1.) Green base coat
Step 2.) Wolf Grey Zenithal
Step 3.) Gravelord Grey Speed Paint
Step 4.) White drybrush, very light
Step 5.) Some sort of colored Speed Paint I guess!
Some cleaner renders, if thats your thing.
Been working on this for the last week or so. A SNW style version of my USS Jacoby design. Started with some SNW Connie pieces I did last year but never finished, then went from there. Im really pleased with how this one turned out.
