You have to say "Enhance" or it won't work.
Add this to the list of things that would make the world a lot better.
handing Amazon's fulfilment infrastructure over to a public-serving USPS (a bunch of fact-driven policy wonks and bureaucrats who believe in the USPS mission) would solve a LOT of big problems. I like this idea.

to be a really well-founded and well-argued idea, nationalizing the USPS. Creating Ben Franklin's US Postal Service was one of the first official acts of the brand-new US Federal Government, and it is still one of the Gov't's crown jewels, and Amazon is sort of its antithesis in every way, so 2/n
This is the post I saw first before I saw what led up to it and I didn't know whether it meant Bezos should buy the Post Office (no) or the Government should take over running Amazon (yes, except not this Government, a real Constitutional Government).
But I clicked a few links and it turns out 1/n
Does anybody here know anybody in the movie industry?
It's fine, you're pitching a movie, it doesn't have to resemble reality.
Yes, and more than ten years ago, so not telling us anything new, but I always enjoy it when someone finds a good way to put it into words.
no force on earth could stop me from letting the duck in
ends at noon on Jan 20, 2029. I don't want to give anyone the power to change that.
When this is all over there is going to be a lot that needs to be fixed, pretty sure we all know that. I just think we can do a lot of that by just enforcing the Constitution we already have.

I appreciate what you're trying to do overall, 1 & 2 are Constitutionally correct and good, just that it's best to play by the rules as much as possible and the rules about elections are as black and white as anything in the Constitution. For one thing, they guarantee that the Trump presidency 1/2
I respect but never expected to have to defend or explain or justify.
These are basic ideas, liberty and justice for all. I don't understand how we got them so wrong so fast, this seems to be the timeline where everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

While I have since then learned that they kind of smoothed out some history, I still think some of the ideas about how the nation and world should be are worth keeping & trying harder to achieve. I am more and more thinking with words like Liberty, Justice, and especially Rule of Law, words 2/n
Needs Alt-text:
'As a kid, they made me say the words “with liberty and justice for all” every morning for school. Now I’m called “woke” and “un-American” for wanting liberty and justice for all.'
Growing up as a comfy White boy in the early 1950s I believed what they told me in school, and 1/n
Oh, this is a crime now?
Hear, hear. There is no constitutional path to "arrange for new elections" and it would not be a good idea to fabricate one.
I'm sure linguists have a name for this particular process, semantic broadening or something. Whatever it's called this is the type specimen. Acoustic bike.
Here's the week in review. Yes, also there's a war.
It’s cool how the people who control the US government right now just openly take it as a personal attack when the Pope says something like “God will not reward evil men”
Thank you for including ALT-text with the original post, media team.
Well I’m glad to see someone at blue sky HQ finally took my advice and got rid of this website’s most controversial feature: the posts
moving from oligarch pocket to other o. pocket fast enough to create the illusion of wealth increasing without limit for everyone.
This is not a judgment on the underlying technology, I am agnostic and honestly skeptical on that, but if that technology is fine, this is not the right way to use it.
Ew indeed, this is ew on so many levels of what's wrong with capitalism and patriarchy and all the consequent evils. Garbage in, garbage out, garbage back in again (C. Doctorow) w/no regard for its truth, just its volume, and all that effort just to sustain the hype and keep the $billions

Pope from Chicago was a good choice, seems like the right man for the moment.
I think it's probably at least partly why he is not what we thought we were getting.
I think there is something wrong with Fetterman's brain, so I grant him diminished accountability, but for the rest of these candy-ass Moderates it's a mixture of disgust and bafflement, how in hell can they be so unaware of their roles and responsibilities in this moment in history?
a while and see if it goes away by itself, I have done that myself once or twice. It doesn't usually go away by itself, though, at least in my experience.
health care misfeasance could be even worse, in the hope that it will convince you to bite the bullet and do what it takes to get some medical attention. Pain, as it was explained to me in 3d grade, is nature's way of telling you there's something wrong.
But I understand the impulse to wait
Even if I had some idea what that might be I think I would gently suggest that you talk to a Dr. or similar. I am in the USA and I don't know 111 but we don't even have anything as helpful and convenient as that. I am trying to suggest that the experience of navigating the world of
