You know nothing about me or what I've done in my life or what I believe. The fact that you think anyone's perspective can be judged on race alone just shows that your opinion isn't worth taking seriously.

But it does answer my question. People don't think when there are easy answers like "white!".

1. Don't care, care what she's done since then. 2. I'm glad I'm not in your circle if you believe people can't change in 40 years. 3. Don't like it, but hardly the worst sin. 4. OMG, she had an opinion! 5. No idea WTF this means.

If this is the worst you have vs things like founding the CFPB...

Educate us, it seems like you'd have plenty of first-hand experience.

That's incredibly reductive and disrespectful to everything Warren has accomplished in politics. She's accomplished as much or more for Democrats and the left as any other senator serving right now.

And his opponent is white as well, so how could this possibly be about race?

I agree it's concerning. But as with you, I'm not in Maine.

I have to think-what's more likely? Someone who's earned my respect for years & >50% of polled Maine Dems just decided to support a bad person, or there's more to this than we outside know. I'm surprised more people aren't torn with this.

Yeah, we got burned with Fetterman for sure. Sinema as well. I can't remember who exactly supported them during elections.

I just can't burn Warren on supporting Platner right now. She's earned too much good will with me. But if it turns out he's another phony, then Warren has certainly lost me.

You just described virtually every movie with a movie star ever made.

Opera, theater, etc., all get a pass, but something about pro wrestling makes people lose their minds with superiority complexes for some reason.

I don't know if he's sincere or faking. What I do know is that Warren is a politician I've supported and trusted for a long time, and it'd take a lot more than my perception of things from a long ways away to throw that away and think she's suddenly become a N.z. apologist for whatever reason.

Platner's stuff seems bad, & I don't know if I'm naive in thinking people can change. I know I have, but my past isn't nearly as bad as his.

But I do know that if >50% of Dems & a politician I trust seem to feel different than what seems obvious, it makes me question if my perception might be off.

So either she's not the person we believed, or she is and believes he's changed enough to trust him. Given what we've seen about Warren's character in the past, which do you think is more likely?

For me, I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt and hope she's not letting me down.

If you've trusted her in the past, maybe she knows more than we do about his sincerity?

I have no idea why he made such terrible decisions in the past or whether to trust him. But I also generally trust Warren not to ignore such things lightly or just for political purposes.

"When people tell you who they are, believe them." When she had an opportunity to wrestle again after thinking her career was over and still took it for granted and coasted, it told me it's not someone I care to be a fan of.

She wants to wrestle. She literally admitted to coasting in AEW and last year talked about training much harder for a comeback.

Whether WWE lets her do that and how much she's capable of is TBD. I stopped caring when she admitted to squandering her AEW opportunity.

That IS a bit weird. It isn't a specific percent. Even if it were like a sales tax that went into 7.25%, it doesn't work (It's 7.085263157...%), so it's not like that.

He was trained by Chavo Guerrero for the scene and Chris Jericho is in it as well, but that's the picture you used. Huh.

This...isn't great. Let's remember that we're supposed to be better than the other side and that there are many things and ways to criticize that don't involve slut-shaming, fat-shaming, etc.

So after tonight’s big breakthrough we are $30-60 billion poorer from a month of war, all the same nuclear material is in Iran’s hands, and now you have to coordinate with their military to transit the Strait (not necessary a month ago). An enormous blunder, in no way a “deal.”

The problem is that they're not mutually exclusive and it can be difficult to determine which part in their brain is winning out at any particular time.

There are better ways. There are tools out there specifically to detect if writing was likely generated by AI or not.

I'd stopped watching in the years between TNA becoming Impact and AEW forming.

Absolutely. Despite many liberals' attempts to paint such folks as extreme leftists who just irrationally hate the Dem party, there are a LOT of us like this out there.

Agreed. Was always partial to the Brooklyn Brawler as well.
