"Trust in Allah, but always tie up your camel." As much as I liked The Seventh Voyage, I absolutely loved everything about Golden Voyage, from the plot, the stars, and especially, its creatures.
My brother who introduced me to Wes Montgomery & why Jazz was cool.
My brother who did his service as a young Marine & came back a veteran.
My brother, @sr.frankellington, AKA Frank Sr, Butch, Butchie, & The Junkman (iykyk), went to his final rest today.
And I'll miss him.
Semper fi, big brother.
Here's the finished inks on my variant cover for THE HUNTER issue 2, done by creator/artist, @drumsoftheserpent.
Dakota brought major Bronze Age love to this, his first time inking over another artist's work.
Bloody Well Done!
My friend @nathanrlong.bsky.social writes some fun swashbucklers, especially this one.

Got to channel my love of the legendary GIL KANE & JOHN ROMITA's Spider-Man #151 on this variant cover I penciled for @drumsoftheserpent's THE HUNTER!
The series is a love letter to both the Marvel & DC Horror hero comics of the 70's, and is gonna be a bloody THRILLER!
My connection with the ol' Sea King has been a long crazy one.
But I suspect it was issue #56 with him hitting Motown that really cooked in my teenaged mind & set our future path.
Been there, done that too.
Wow❤️
Arthur inked! Woke up to a very nice surprise from fellow artist, the ever amazing Andy Smith. I'm both honored & grateful by this, Andy. Much obliged!
Aquaman & I want to wish all my friends, colleagues & fans @ WonderCon, a Fun, Safe & above all, WONDERFUL time this weekend!

It was a fav of mine to work on too.
Remembering Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated: "The Legend of Alice May", season 1, episode 6.
A spooky fun sequence I storyboarded ON PAPER, old school style, just before we all went digital.
Happy Stepback Sunday.

CAPTAIN N and DUKE, a 10 year old commission, packed with a lot of memories of directing my first Saturday morning show.
Captain N was one crazy ride from start to finish.
Happy Wacky Wayback Wednesday.
Remembering Teen Titans: "The Quest", episode 2, season 4 for this Stepback Saturday.
In storyboarding the climax to Robin's solo gig, I was spiritually inspired by Bruce Lee & the Shaw Brothers flick, Mad Monkey Kung Fu.
Good times.
Remembering Todd McFarlane's Spawn: "Chasing the Serpent", episode 5, season 3 for this Friday the 13th.
Written by Rebekah Bradford Leekley & directed by me with Frank Paur, Supervising Director.

FURY OF FIRESTORM!
First done as a pencil commission, then my buddy, the late Art "Inky Fingaz" Nichols, inked a version as a surprise gift to me & really set it on 🔥!
Bravo!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Ran up on this hanging on the wall of a neighborhood pizza joint.
A belated HBD on his 88th to The Hammer, Fred Williamson!
