My brain is whirring over the word 'fencing'. It is the term used for Olympic fencing which typically rapier fencing. Fencing is a catch all term for all kinds of sword duels but only in a sporting manner. You can fence with cutlasses for instance.

This is at the half way point. I am sure they show some form of understanding eventually.

I get that is because they are supposed to be the throughline for the story line and act as a pseudo antagonist but if this was your first experience of monster hunters would you join up? They don't even prep properly, they just throw more guys at the threat, regardless of the size.

I am playing through Monster Hunter Stories 2 and am convinced the hunters in this game are vastly different from the hunters you play as in the main series. I would not trust these guys to face off against monsters let alone capture them. Their attitude towards hunting is also awful.
