I think one potential area are services like speech or OT therapy. It is guaranteed under IDEA-schools try to fight it- but usually lose. W/o federal oversight families will have to use insurance- if they have it-and will have to fight for auth. Time lost for child, and less intensive therapy.

I’m in ECE and have 20 years in early intervention. I’ve been to enough IEP meetings as a parent and advocate to know that turning over special education to HHS and the states will unravel decades of progress. Without strong federal oversight- many states and school districts will gut services.

Not surprisingly, Trump’s overall tax and tariff proposals would make the very rich much richer and working families poorer.

If you earn less than $360,000 a year, your taxes are going to go way up.

If you’re in the top 1%? Don’t worry. You’ll save big.

A hyper-individualistic society finding out the hard way how interdependent everyone actually is, is going to be historically interesting.

Individually, there will be a lot of pain.

U.S. infant deaths increase 20%. This is just some of the costs. THERE IS A COST OF DOING NOTHING! It is not zero sum.

Voting to cut Medicaid should at the very least cost them their jobs. Spineless, greedy, sycophants.

Couldn’t agree more! It’s not that hard to see the truth behind the real steal- our dignity, our security, our prosperity, and gasp- our commitment to celebrating diversity, breaking down barriers to equity and equality, being inclusive of everyone and especially those who are most vulnerable.

Republicans Downplay Medicaid Cuts Amid Town Hall Voter Backlash House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) used rhetorical trickery to claim the House budget “contains no policies.”
