We didn't qualify this year but the team is looking forward to iterating on their current design and possibly building a second robot for our upcoming off-season event KCMT (Kendrick Castillo Memorial Tournament)

Lol, we wish. They're composite rollers sold as collapsible boat hooks. We built a custom drum and compliant wheel assembly that unrolls and retracts them.

We had similar concerns and were lucky enough to have a FRC alum volunteer to fabricate metal replacements for our entire PVC reef.

Java has the most vendor support which is why we use it. Wouldn't be opposed to Python if it had the same :)

I hope to see more vendor libraries expand to support c++ and python in the future.

Ah, I understand your reply now with that context. Thanks for clarifying. Your response was not threatening at all :)

We used straps as well last year but since this year all of our electrical will be beneath the robot, we opted for enclosing it to avoid fighting gravity :)

Hi Doug. Thanks for the feedback. There are no modifications to any connections. These are 3d printed clamps that hold the connectors in place on both the robot and battery. We based this off of another team's similar design used last year. Happy to discuss further if you still have concerns.
