Lovely morning for football at Bushy Park, pity about the result. Boys all had a good run about anyway.

Another week of call offs at grassroots level. Hoping our opponents can host but it means trekking into west London - better than not playing at all. Didn’t even think there was that much rain this week. Stupid British weather.

Also playing team sports especially if you move around a bit. Finding a 5-a-side knock about at a new job is gold dust.

As a STP man myself this is magnificent and fully agree on every point especially sauce stinginess which seems to get worse the posher the establishment.

The real action at twickenham took place earlier today as the boys fought out an epic 4 all draw in the mud at marble hill park. Proper football in proper football conditions.

Fair play to the Coupar boys taking nae pish from the paps fae Perth.

Friggin bye week just when the boys are putting a run of results together and can’t for the life of me find an opposition despite having a pitch and ref booked. Might have to brave the berks friendlies Facebook page. FFS.

First league game, first win. Playing in bottom section where everyone is nice. Kids football is sound.

Pre-season tournament at FCBracknell. Boys did great playing with a player short and against sides that will be in higher sections this season. Roll on first league game next Saturday.

Dunno about the 100, it ain’t cricket but that quite entertaining fare.

Dare say plenty of yer living god types would have no problem with it either if they knew folks from all over the world were queuing up to see them.
