Drupal is in a weird place right now.
The standard way of building sites is changing, and it's hard to know what to follow.
Canvas is more for page building, UI suite is more for site building. π€·ββοΈ
Best thing you can do is use SDCs (Single Directory Components) as much as possible.

Used AI to write "uninstall instructions" for WebWash features I've added. A simple way to roll back cleanly (I hope).
There must be a tool that tracks changes like this and lets you revert them easily (not in git).

What domain registrar do people use these days?
Iβm using Hover for a bunch of domains, but wondering if thereβs a better/cheaper option.

Testing out Codex because I got one month free on the plus plan.
But now I need to figure out a way how to reorganise my skills so they can be picked up by Codex.

Switch Search API from database to Solr by editing the index and changing the server.
Click Index now. All your views and facets keep working.
Use database locally and Solr on production to avoid indexing test content.

I really should look at learning tmux because I've got too many tabs open in iTerm to manage all my sessions.
And what I learned last week is that resuming a session uses up a lot of tokens because nothing is cached.

To save tokens in Claude Code, I am manually generating video descriptions in Gemini now.
A week ago I could use Opus perfectly fine, but now running one of these agents uses up 10 to 15% of my five-hour session.

Set up Solr in DDEV with two commands.
Run ddev add-on get ddev/ddev-solr then ddev restart.
Install Search API Solr, create a server with Solr Cloud connector, and upload the config set.
To be fair, ActionScript did give us the platform to build awesome games, which HTML5 never really fulfilled.

I've had to switch to Opus 4.5 a few times the last couple of days, it's rock solid.
I'd rather use Opus 4.5 than have to deal with overloaded messages a couple times a day.
The whole 1M tokens means nothing.
Claude Code got a brand new command "/buddy".
It's a modern day Tamagotchi.
All I really want is solid uptime and a lot of tokens, but we got a Tamagotchi.
What a time to be alive.

Switch facets from multi-select to checkboxes using Better Exposed Filters.
Set a soft limit to show only the top options.
Move the exposed form to a sidebar block for a cleaner search layout.

I hit the session limit on the Max 5 plan processing 8 live streams for WebWash.
The pipeline converts, transcribes, trims, uploads to Vimeo and WordPress, and cleans up.
Come to think of it, that's a lot.

Nothing fires up fans like using Python to transcribe 4 one hour long live streams on a MacBook Pro.
I haven't heard the fans running for a while. πͺ
I saw the feature but I thought it was only for team accounts.
I finally caved in and switched on the "bypass permissions" featured in Claude Code.
It does speed up a lot of things, but I notice that I have to stop it to review things.

lol.
It did the job. All morning I was getting overloaded errors on Opus 4.6.
Quick PSA if you're using Claude Code today.
Try switching to Opus 4.5. Seems a little more stable.
