I love this (obviously!) Also, did you know, a paper I wrote in college is cited in the American Comics book? (Shameless self plug!)

A Star Trek Voyager trading card with a picture of Kathryn Janeway with the quote “our directive: to seek out new life and explore space”
Excited to share that I’ll have these convention-exclusive Star Trek: Voyager Archives and Inscriptions promo cards to giveaway @treklongisland.bsky.social to the first 50 attendees who visit my table at the show, courtesy our friends at Rittenhouse Archives!
Also, congratulations to my fellow former Utah resident The Sandman on your final match! Well earned! 🍺🍻
Congratulations Stephanie McMahon on your WWE Hall of Fame induction. You are the best executive I’ve ever met. It’s been a privilege to have worked with you and I’ve been humbled by your support. I’m honored to have written about you over the years. You’ve truly inspired me.
Closing out the week with one more Topps card set I wrote that drops on Friday. It’s a very fun, very cool Disney set called Disney Neon. Some absolute fire inserts and first appearance cards for Phineas and Ferb, Gargoyles, and A Goody Movie anniversary. Check em out: www.topps.com/pages/topps-...
Watching “Encounter at Farpoint” for the eleventhtrillionrh time and *just* caught the “Thou must certainly die” line from Q. 😂
Out now: Topps Finest Fantastic Four trading cards. This is one of the funnest projects I’ve written in a while. My wife and I have long loved the FF movies. I had toys and storybooks and loved the cartoon (H.E.R.B.I.E. Is my hero)! Check out more info here: www.topps.com/pages/topps-...

A plate with grilled salmon peas and angel hair pasta
While my wife and kids are across the country this weekend, I decided to experiment with Sunday dinner. Grilled lemon-paprika salmon, mint peas, and angel hair pasta in an herb sauce. It. Is. Delicious. 🤤

Two girls watch a news report featuring comments from Jean-Luc Picard about the atttack on mars from the Short Treks episode Children of Mars.
This year’s First Contact Day watch is “Children of Mars.” Feels more appropriate.
So…infrastructure week?

Box of text reading: Fast forward to adulthood. In the 25 years since The Next Generation aired its final TV episode “All Good Things...,” there’s been good Star Trek and not-so-good Star Trek. As a literal lifelong fan, I’ve seen it all. I’ve liked most of it, disliked some of it, and loved all of it.
Six years ago this month my first piece for @startrek was published. It included this couple of sentences that I’ve had on my mind lately. It still pretty well captures my feeling on the franchise. 🖖
For 35 years, I’ve had one goal/dream in my comics writing career. I’ve gotten close several times but it never panned out. I’m beginning to accept that the window has closed and it likely will never happen.
(PS I rarely get star struck. It’s only happened a couple of times: meeting Sarah Vowell and talking to Kirsten Beyer at Star Trek Day 2022, the first major Trek project I wrote.)

Jake Sisko speaking with Starfleet Academy’s Sam
Over the last couple of days, I’ve been reading Derek Attico’s Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko. Loved it. After finishing it, I turned on the SFA Sisko episode written by Kirsten Beyer and Tawny Newsome.
I’ve said it before, I love writers. Congrats Derek. And thank you Tawny…for everything…
