Let’s see how New York Subway is going to handle it this time.
But seriously, it’s insane to live in the city that I would refrain from taking Subway just because it is going to rain.

I found the Playlist based on @tedgioia.bsky.social's "The History of Jazz". It is assembled by Vallcarca i els Penitens Library in Barcelona and it apparently includes all the songs that appear in the book in order of appearance. It is 86 hours and 46 minutes.

Today was one of those wonderfully serendipitous New York day of running into Arto Lindsay at McNally Jackson, and walked and talked all the way to Cara. He is performing at Cara (225 West 13th street) at 6pm tomorrow (March 15th)
Maybe Hulu was chosen as a sacrificial lamb to deliver the message of (as a director Sean Baker had stated in his speech) “Watch more movies in theaters”. After Hulu’s Oscar (non)streaming debacle, people might have less faith in streaming now and Mr. Baker’s statement might ring even more true.
Rest in Peace Ms. Roberta Flack

I saw this Jonas Mekas vinyl at Ergot Records in EV yesterday. In September of 2017, a year before he passed, I was sitting across from him for dinner gathering at almost exactly 12 feet to the right from where I am standing when the next door of this place used to be Anyway Cafe.

Ways to tackle this upcoming Goonies sequel I can think of would be, going with a direction of an adult drama, basically doing “Stand by Me” but focus on the part of adult Gordie reminiscing the childhood and expand it, or make a Goonies sequel equivalent of what Before Sunset was to Before Sunrise.

Miss Kittin in The City (AKA Caroline in The City).
We met in early aughts at Miami Winter Music Conference and became friends when she was a part of this event as an act that I designed the graphics for. Every time she is in town, we have great conversations.

Many years ago my friend Sarah came out of an event in uptown in pouring rain & looking for a cab. There was another person also looking for one. They both saw a cab and this person asked Sarah if she is heading to downtown & if she wants share it. She said yes and they got in. It was David Bowie.
