this summer, that story led me to Paris and to a certain painting that haunts my thoughts.

i think I’m ready to start sharing

well i stepped away from social media and streaming for a while (longer than i thought i would 😅)

in the quiet, i’ve taken things slower and relearned how to be in the moment. and I’ve been following a story that’s been tugging at me for two years.

Day 3 no power: it’s inconvenient and the house is so cold, we’ve lost my refrigerated meds and all food in the freezer. But… kiddo is adapting, no doomscrolling for me, and maybe my sleep schedule is fixed (maybe?)

Made it through last night’s bomb cyclone windstorm without any property damage luckily, but going on 18 hours without power so far. No estimates on when it’ll return so we’re hunkering down.
