Well my criticism of McGregor in the past was well and truly wrong! Badly missed today, look lost without him. Far too many in that team are hiding today, and if not hiding then not good enough

Whole speed of our play went up a notch. When McGregor plays the defence etc always look for him with the pass, when he’s not there, we move it forward quicker because they are not looking for him

Agreed they targeted Scales but McGregor set the early tone that put us up against it.

Watch the game again, McGregor set the early tone, lost possession in middle of pitch before the Scales error, that’s what got their tails up and seems to drain any confidence we had

McGregor I keep waiting to see the player we know is there emerge and every time I just get more frustrated. Time takes its toll unfortunately and in games that we get pressed high he can’t handle it now.
